If a plant is struggling but you are doing all of the right things, check the soil! Its the number one thing I tell people when their plants seem to be dying for no reason. Soil has an expiration date, so make sure to change it yearly. Also, don’t be hard on yourself if a plant dies. Some of them just don’t make it sometimes. Happy planting! :)
If your plant is dying and you are doing everything right, I agree that it’s probably the soil. Your plant needs nutrients just like we do!! So, one trick I use is tea leaves! After you drink your tea, instead of throwing away the leaves, give it to your plants. The leaves are rich in nutrients and hold water very well. Just put it on top of the soil around the base of your plants so that they can use all those nutrients that you were going to get rid of! Your plants will thank you!
