10 Simple Ways to Weave Magick Into Your Everyday Life

Witchcraft is, in plain and simple terms, the art of doing things better. It might be through energy work, herbal medicine, application of Will, meditative trance, or any number of a thousand other little ways in which the Witch applies their Will and effort in order to achieve their goals. But sometimes you just don’t want to perform a huge ritual, or you don’t have the time, energy, spoons, or tools to allow you to perform magick in a manner you might prefer. Here are 10 simple examples of everyday magick, to help encourage your witchy senses and promote your exploration of your own skills.
  1. Infuse living energy into bread dough as you knead, encouraging the yeast to grow. Yeast is a living creature, an example of many hundreds of thousands of single-celled fungi working together in order to help you achieve a well-risen loaf. Encourage them to flourish and bloom with a little life energy!
  2. Use visualisation as you travel to your destination to help yourself find a parking space. Visualisation is a powerful tool if used by someone who has practiced and honed it as a skill. Practice using it on small things like parking spaces, finding your keys, and finding the exact page you need to in a book.
  3. Draw “find me” sigils on your keys so that you never lose them.Keys are a nightmare; just when you think you’ve finally got a system that will ensure they’re never lost again, away they go! Draw “find me” sigils across them to make sure they’re always found when they go missing!
  4. Make every glass of water you drink into a healing potion. Focus on the water before you drink it, fill it with healing energies, and ask the spirits to assist you in allowing it to clean your body and mind. Every glass you drink can be a healing potion, and every sip you take can energise and empower you!
  5. Use meditation at work or school to remain calm and composed during stressful times. Meditation is a powerful tool for enhancing mindfulness and mental balance, and is an intrinsic part of witchcraft in the modern era. Spend 10 minutes during your lunch break meditating and reaffirming your calm, open nature, and you’ll be amazed at the benefits you reap!
  6. Create psychic shields to keep bad mental influences at bay.Psychic shielding is a technique used by Witches and non-Witches alike to keep themselves safe from harmful mental and psychic influences such as energy vampires, negative spirits, and unrealised empaths who are in bad moods. Practice putting up mental barriers between yourself and the world, and use it to keep negative influences at bay.
  7. Weave energising magicks into your dinner as you cook. Food’s purpose is to fuel our bodies and our minds, and so what better way to enhance these properties than with a little magick? Energise your food and encourage it to be burnt more efficiently by those who eat it to enhance the benefit that you and your diners receive from their dinner.
  8. Create a music playlist that raises power. Choose songs that you find energising, empowering or strong, and arrange them into a playlist that you can listen to at home or take with you on your phone. Raise power as you listen to it, and you’ll find that after a while your body starts raising power without you even noticing!
  9. Visualise choosing the right lift before you even press the button. This is an excellent exercise to hone your precognition skills, and will help train you to open your mind to future possibilities. Visualise choosing the correct lift as you press the button, then stand in front of the lift you visualised opening. Over time, you’ll get better!
  10. Reach your mind out to your pets, and try to encourage them to stay calm and happy. Our pets are like our children to many people, and everyone wants their children to be calm, well-behaved, and happy. Try to reach your mind out and gently send waves of calming energy to your pets, and see how differently they act.

You can raise power, weave magick, and cast spells at any time!

There is no “witching hour”, there’s just “when I choose to use my Craft”!
