Okay so let’s get into some home-brewed protective curses. What you’ll need:
- 1 bottle/jar (Like an old bottle from those essential oils you bought)
- 5 nails (Iron or Steel)
- Black Salts (Or War Salts, which is rust and salt instead of ash/charcoal and salt)
-Charged water (Rain, Sea, River, Moon, etc.)
Potentially harmful items:
-Thorns/Cactus Spines
-Crushed glass (I used it, but honestly you don’t have to. It can be difficult.)
-Moldy/rotting plant material (I used old tea leaves)
-Tobacco (Can use cigarette butts too.)
Personalize it:
-Pick a stone/Pick stones (I recommend using whatever stone you feel you have the strongest connection to. If you don’t have one of those, clear quartz or a potentially toxic stone.
-Pick some oil (If you have access to oils, that is. I used tea-tree because I use tea-tree in almost all my spellwork, along with lavender and rosemary [because those are all pretty solid choices for oils]) Note: I don’t really have any resources that touch on potentially negative aspects of oils, so I kind of just wing it.
Alright, before we get started: please make sure whatever you’re using tightly seals when it closes. If not properly sealed the contents will come out and you’ll have to deal with the consequences (which is gross, smelly and probably will make you ill).
Now get all your stuff in the container of choice in this order:
1. Salts
2. Stone(s)
3. Glass (if used)
4. Thorns
5. Tobacco
6. Moldy leaves
7. Nails
8. Water
9. Oil(s)
Now, make sure the lid is on tight before you seal it with wax. What color wax should you use? Well, what do you want to wither and rot on your supposed attackers? Use black to rot their defenses. Red to relieve them of their passions. Yellow to strip them of their stability. Blue to ruin their peace. Green to take their vitality. Orange to wither their energies. Purple to cut them off from imagination. Pink to make their relationships crumble. White to lose themselves. Silver to drain their power. Gold to make their wealth disappear. Any combination can be used. What you believe about a color is up to you, but I just used those as examples.
Where’s the taglock? I’m glad you asked, me. I personally use a sigil to represent myself. (I just don’t like putting anything from my body into a spell). You can use hair, fingernail clippings, a bit of bodily fluids or a poppet. If you take the sigil route, it can be carved into wax or drawn on the container with fancy permanent markers. Tadaaaa! Now you have protection and a curse rolled into a convenient package. As with natural decay, this spell will manifest slowly, so you won’t see results right away. Just keep this in a dark place (like a drawer or behind a bookshelf) and it’ll just keep passive-aggressively doing its thing until the wax seal breaks.
