Simple Shower Pick-Me-Up
This is a very nice and simple cleansing, protection, and self-blessing all in one. No bathtub needed!
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Ensure that olive oil won’t break your skin out.
The magic:
Mix
a bit of salt and olive oil to make a scrub. Stir your scrub clockwise
for a bit and think of the powerful cleansing properties of salt. Do not
make too much, a little goes a long way. Adjust the ratio of oil to
salt to make a softer scrub.
Take a nice shower and wash normally.
Before you get out, gently use the salt scrub on your body. Start near
the top of your head and scrub downwards. Think about any bad unwanted
emotional, psychic, or energetic grime being picked up and washed away
with the salt down the drain. Be especially sure to scrub your hands and the soles of your feet.
When
you are feeling nice and clean, exit the shower as normal. Dry off a
bit, and then moisturize your body with olive oil. Pour a little oil in
to your hands. Starting with your feet (making sure to get the soles of
your feet), massage the oil in just like you would do with lotion. Think
about the protective, blessed attributes of olives. Olive oil is a sign
of wealth, a substance of protection, and bringer of wisdom. Moisturize
upwards, bringing the blessings and protections of the oil to you. Wash
your hands before you moisturize your face.
Very likely you will
use too much oil and have it sitting on your skin. Take a towel or
washcloth and buff away the excess oil, continuously thinking of being
safe, protected, and blessed. When you are soft and dry, finish your
shower routine as normal.
