Yo feelings are real and you can’t just make them go away, that leads to big mental problems. BUT. Sometimes some shit is making you cry in the shower and it's really not that big of a deal. That’s like…your feelings are kind of glitchy right now.
Fuck that! You don’t have time to be fucking miserable.

Open all the safety pins.
Sit down with your tools in front of you. Get centered, meditate about nothing. Just “be” for a while.
Come back when you’re ready. Start thinking about what’s eating at you. Feel the horrible way it makes you feel. Remember to keep taking deep, calm breaths, like you’re still meditating.
Pick up the cloth and press it into your chest (or wherever you feel all the badness). Inhale into the whole body, focusing on clean fresh air and energy. With each exhale, push the bad feelings out into the cloth. Do this until you feel it’s all gone.
On the last exhale, push every last bit of that badness into the cloth. Without taking a breath, focus on holding the negativity in the cloth, and stab it right in the center with your largest, nastiest safety pin. You can breathe now. Pin it securely.
The negativity is pinned to the center of the cloth. Fold the corners of the cloth over the center and pin them individually, into a little bundle. With each corner, I focused on one specific aspect I wanted to let go of.
Take your last pin and secure the whole thing. All the bad shit is in that little bundle and out of you. But it’s a nasty thing to keep around. You could probably leave it at someone’s house who you don’t like. I took mine outside on a windy day, asked the negativity to please become neutral energy, and opened the whole thing up and shook it out.
