Put your blasted wood and gem charts away. A necromacers wand is simple, crude but effective. I made mine from a branch of a dead tree, the wood had not rotten but was dry and devoid of foliage, with most of the bark fallen. I shaped the wand in a manner i liked using little more than a knife. To finish it off i cut my index and middle finger of my summoning hand and bled on an iron nail, i then buried it into my wand whist saying: “sageous (my name) this nail binds you to this tool till it is destroyed”, effectively joining it to myself to my tool. Additionally one could add a length of copper wire to the mid section which wraps up to the tip. This helps conduct energy. It’s that simple. No gems, no complicated consecration act, no mind bending rituals. Pure, simple, effective wand making for necromancers.
