Red Hot Lovers Jar

When you want to keep the passion alive in the bedroom.
image
Ingredients
🌹 Rosemary - for lust
🌹 Dried tulip petals - for passion and desire
🌹 Dried rose petals - for passion and lust. I used red roses
🌹 Cinnamon stick - for lust
🌹 Cayenne pepper - for passion and lust
🌹 Red sea salt - for lust
*I used red clay sea salt but it can also be made by mixing cayenne and sea salt until it’s nice and red (if you do do this, you don’t have to add the additional cayenne)
🌹 Shrimp shells - said to be an aphrodisiac
🌹 Oyster shell - also said to be an aphrodisiac
Method
You don’t need words when you add the layers, just focus on the intent and make sure to breathe.
Lay the salt down first and then the pepper if you didn’t mix it into the salt but this jar can be layered how ever you like, it should be aesthetically pleasing to you.
After you put everything in, don’t seal it because there’s one more ingredient - sex.
Keep the jar near when you have sex, letting the energy drummed up to charge it. Afterwards, put the lid on and keep it around to promote lust and good sex.

Pinch of cinnamon // peace
Honey, to taste // healing
Directions:
In a pot on the stove, heat the milk and tea bag until hot, but do not boil. The tea should steep for ~4 minutes, then remove the tea bag. Stir in the cinnamon and honey, counter-clockwise to release any built up anxiety/energy. Pour into your favorite mug and get cozy!

Sleepy Morning Witchcraft πŸ•Š✨

What’s more lovely than the sight of a new day? If you ever wake up feeling mentally yucky, try these little things to help ease your mind. The plus? You don’t even have to leave your bed!
☁️ When your eyes have fluttered open, begin your day by just paying extra attention to your breathing. Don’t check your phone first thing - Instead, take as many deep breaths as you like while you lay in your comfy bed. Stretch. Your legs, your arms… Your whole body. You know those extra-big yawns than come with a full-body stretch, the ones that just feel heavenly? Do one of those!
☁️ Take notice of how soft the sheets feel on your toes, how warm and encompassing your comforter is. Try to carry this warm and fuzzy feeling with you throughout the day. Becoming more aware of simple little things will help you take notice of them more often.
☁️ Consider making a small, personal scent-bag to place underneath your pillow. This can be filled with any herb that smells wonderful to you - mine contains lavender and a rose quartz stone to promote sweet dreams. Yours can have anything you like! (Rosemary, Chamomile, Mint - even go as far as to spritz it once or twice with a favorite perfume for extra scented loveliness). When you wake in the morning, gently rub your scent bag between your fingers. Try repeating a positive mantra to yourself in your head(or out loud) during this slow, rhythmic, back-and-forth motion.
☁️ Keep a favorite candle near your bed to light first thing in the morning! It could simply be a favorite scent, or be a color that represents what you would like more of in life - green for financial matters, blue for a more relaxed lifestyle, red for passion and romance. Say a small thanks or silently set your intention for the day while lighting it.
I hope you give these little things a try! Once it’s time to roll out of bed, treat yourself to a morning cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, and drink it near the window. Breathe in the soft, chilled air, and remind yourself that the day is just as fresh as this air is. ♡

Her many faces, and her whole
In English we must use adjectives to distinguish the different kinds of love for which the ancients had distinct names. Mortimer Adler

Most who find themselves drawn to astrology very quickly learn of Venus and her role in determining one’s identity. She is the heavenly body of love, sentimentality, pleasure, art, and happiness. In the natal chart, the house and sign she resides in shows how one approaches relationships, what they seek in a partner, and what appeals to our senses in general. For these reasons, she is one of the main heavenly bodies acknowledged in synastry, the art of relationship astrology, and yet she is not the only one of her kind.
Venus is not alone, she is joined by sister asteroids and small planets that add facets to the Venusian aspect of our identities. Aphrodite, Astarte, and Ishtar are her counterparts - her sisters, her other identities. In this article, these different “facets” of Venus will be explored, along with the influence they have in the natal chart.

Self-Loving Spell

If you’re feeling bad or insecure about yourself, or you think your own character is stopping you from achieving your goals, you’ll need:
  • A pen
  • Two pieces of paper
  • A candle (black possibly or simply white)
  • Something for lighting it
Write down on the first piece of paper your defects or features you think are bad. More detailed it will be, more it will take effect. Then fucking destroy it, make it in pieces, and then burn those fucking pieces with the black candle. Your “defects” are a part of your humanity. They’re perfect.
Restart the entire list, writing down your qualities and everything your “defects” helped you do in the past. Write your strengths and your merits and try to see the beautiful things that are in yourself.
Now read it out loud. Then put it in a place where you’ll often see it, or in your Book Of Shadows, or you can also bury it.
You are a fantastic and special human being and you deserve happiness and love from others but also from yourself.

My spell is almost done now
The ritual comes to an end
The circle’s cast away once more

Happiness Spell Jar

This spell is to bring happiness and joy to the caster and those around them.
You will need:
○ A small glass jar
○ Gauze or some other perforated fabric
○Tape
○ Yellow string/ribbon
○ Any stone or crystal associated with happiness (sunstone, citrine, rose quartz, agate, aventurine, etc.)
○ Any [dried] herbs associated with happiness (lemon balm, St. John’s wort, calendula, anise, bluebell, etc.)
○ Any oils associated with happiness (see herbs)
○ Sugar
○ A picture of something that makes you happy (can be printed from the web; this will be FOLDED)
1. Mix herbs together, imagining a very happy moment in your life and putting that feeling into the herbs. Have enough to cover the bottom, you can use more if you like. Put the mixture in the jar.
2. Gently place stones/crystals in the jar. Visualize the good energy from them bouncing around inside the jar. You can sprinkle herbs on top if you want.
3. Fold up the picture into a small square an put a drop of your chosen oil onto it. Place it in the jar.
4. Put two or three drops of oil into the jar, imagining the scent starting to fill it.
5. Sprinkle a decent amount of sugar into the jar, imagining the sweetness it gives.
6. Tape the gauze/fabric over the opening. Tie your string/ribbon around the jar, and as you do, say: “The materials in this jar will spread their joyful energies to myself and those around me, bringing smiles and laughter. For the good of all, harming none, this is my will, so it is done.“
7. Place in an area that gets a lot of traffic, like your home living room, or the lobby at your workplace. You can also place it on your desk or windowsill.
Keep this until you feel it needs to be re-done, most likely in a few months. You can re-use the crystals (charge them) and the picture. The herbs, sugar, and oil need to be replaced.

What’s the Deal with ‘Black’ Magick?

This is my personal opinion; I have nothing against dark arts practicioners!
It is no suprise that most Witches practice ‘white’ magick (magick is neutral, I’m just using the term for clarity) seeing as how most resources on Witchcraft are based doing good and not harming anyone, especially with many of the resources being connected to Wicca.
But… what about those who practice Witchcraft on the darker side?
This brings up a lot of debate in the magickal community as to whether or not it is justified or ethical to practice in such areas. There is also the issue of karma or the three-fold law that is brought up.
Many Witches who use ‘black’ magick do so in order to try and set things right the way they see fit. For example, if a dark practicioner was fired unnecessarily fired from their job, they might force their boss in some way to take them back with something like a curse. A ‘white’ Witch, on the other hand, would most likely cast a spell to help find a new job, or attract money. It is two different sides of the same coin.
Many spells that we think of as ‘black’ magick are actually ‘grey’ magick, like cursing or hexing someone in order to protect yourself or another person. It walks a fine line between ethical and unethical, because you are potentially hurting someone in order to help somebody else.
This is not to say that people who practice dark arts are inherently evil, because they aren’t. They find their practice works for them, then so be it. While I don’t necessarily have anything against ‘black’ magick, I certainly don’t recommend it. If somebody decides to take that path, they must exercise extreme caution (although, you should be careful with all magick). I believe what you send out comes back to you, sooner or later, and that there are often better and more helpful alternatives to 'black’ magick. While 'black’ magick may show strength and control, I believe that strength and control is also knowing you can practice darker magick, but choose not to.

How to Make a Love Sachet

This is to attract beneficial love and relationships into your life. This is not to be used to attract a specific person.
You will need:
○ String or ribbon (preferably pink, red, or white)
○ Fabric (pink or red, non-porous)
○ Needle & thread/fabric glue/hot glue (If you have it)
○ Safety pins
○ Scissors
○ Any of these ingredients; pick at least two: lavendar, sage, rosemary, honeysuckle, rose, bay, cinnamon, ginger, hazel, jasmine, poppy seed, myrtle, liquid honey (you can use the oils as well, but make sure you have some solid ingredients)

1. Take your piece of fabric and cut out a square a bit bigger than the size of your whole hand with fingers spread.
2. Lay it flat and set it to the side. Grind up any ingredients if need be, and while doing that imagine your energy going into it. You want about a teaspoon for solid ingredients; oils and honey are used in a drop or two.
3. Mix solid ingredients together, once again putting your own energy and desire in. After mixing solids, put in a drop or two of your chosen oil or honey and mix once more. Repeat the same visualization.
4. Put complete mixture in a small pile on fabric square, taking the corners up and enclosing it. You either twist it and tie it with the ribbon, sew it, or glue it with fabric glue/hot glue. If you decide to twist, use the safety pins to make sure the fabric stays (pin sides together). No matter what sealing method you choose, tie the ribbon on after. 5. Hold the sachet in your hands and say: “I will bring beneficial love, support, and relationships into my life. I will bond well with family, friends, and those around me in a healthy and helpful manner. For the good of all, harming none, this is my will, so it is done.”
6. Carry the sachet with you, or put it in your locker, desk, backpack, dresser, or anywhere else you would be around it frequently.
7. It’s best to bury the sachet after about one to two months. The herbs and oils will become stale after a period of improper storage. You can always make another one if need be.

The Wounded Moon

Moon in Aries: Feels ill equipped for the world. A temperamental, abandoned child. There is often a fight for survival, a fanatic charge by a screaming inner child who has been lacerated and left here. Suffers migraines. Coping mechanisms may not be developed, the individual may constantly lapse into the framework of the abandoned or bruised child during times of stress or
heavy emotions.
Moon in Taurus: Strongly fears being abandoned, and despite giving an aura of calm, the insides resemble quicksand. Can privately binge, over indulge, and self destruct. Feels easily rundown or catches colds easily. Struggles letting go of anything with their emotional investment. Can be haunted by memories.
Moon in Gemini: Emotions are too confusing and complex to be made sense of. The emotional nature can feel like a personality of its own. It’s hard because the individual just wants somebody to teach them how to feel and what to do. Inner needs change rapidly. The individual neglects their own emotional needs, often invalidating their authenticity
Moon in Cancer: Fears of being left are consuming. The emotional reactivity, fears, and demands of the inner child express the individual’s deep feelings of inadequacy regarding their own sensitivity. The individual leaves claw marks on anybody who tries to leave
Moon in Leo: The devouring needs of the inner child charter relationships. The individual is drawn to the comfort of unconditional love, safety, and validation that was denied as a child. Severely wounded by invalidation, they search for a mother figure everywhere they go. Reacts dramatically, but fails at explaining themselves leaving people unsure of how to help
Moon in Virgo: The temperament is a battlefield and the nervous system is in overdrive. During times of distress, the reflex is to withdraw and martyr themselves. Their agitation can be unpredictable. Emotional distress manifests through physical and digestive changes and lack of wellbeing.
Moon in Libra: Emotional needs are disregarded and ignored. Often the individual feels that their own traumas and experiences are less valid than others. The hollowness inside could swallow the universe. Requires a very close relationship with the mother and becomes severely wounded if this is not actualised.
Moon in Scorpio: Emotional experiences are intense and lonely. The inner child is screaming, self destructing, and demanding answers for its isolated existence. Pelvic cramps with no organic causation. Early betrayals and traumas run into deep ledges of the psyche and can rule the individual’s whole emotional life and responsiveness as an adult.
Moon in Sagittarius: The feeling of being lost can become consuming. This can generate a powerful need to control, or be in control. Feelings of escapism infuse with rage and cause severe reactivity. The individual can struggle managing substance misuse. The moon is sentimental and fixed, the moon wants safety and security and time away to be held and nurtured. Sagittarius desires the opposite. Two conflicting needs collide. There is no safe place.
Moon in Capricorn: Afraid to ask, the individual secretly longs for comfort and guidance. There is a frightened child in the body of a full grown adult. The individual is wounded by their lost childhood. The world feels hostile and unwelcoming, cold and unforgiving.
Moon in Aquarius: Feelings are intense and unforgiving, the individual feels compelled to distance themselves from emotions to restrict them from becoming ultimately consuming. The condition of human existence is devastating. During severe emotional torment, the Lunar Aquarius can experience complete numbness and the sense of exit from their own bodies.
Moon in Pisces: Loneliness is exaggerated here. An emotional compass without any direction, feelings take on a life of their own. All life, love, and suffering is born and dies here. Spiritually insatiable, can devote themselves to any guide, creed, or guru that seems to offer salvation.

✨πŸ’ΌSpell for a JobπŸ’Ό✨

**Disclaimer: This spell will not work if you do not apply to jobs or do not show up to interviews. The Universe does not bend to you and you should put in the effort. This can also be used for current business endeavors, feel free to tailor it to what you need.
Ingredients:
  • Chamomile
  • Basil
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Green Onion
  • Olive Oil (Optional)
Directions:
First Method: Burn ingredients together in a fire-safe container like a cauldron or cast-iron cooking skillet/pot. Light a green or gold candle to go with it and repeat incantation.
Second Method: Consecrate the ingredients with incense or herb smoke (feel free to pass job applications through the smoke as well.) Picture your intentions and then combine the ingredients in a vial with olive oil. Repeat incantation if you’d like.
Incantation: “A job for me, is a job to be. I’ve worked hard; let this job put money on my card. As I say, so mote it be.”
Wear oil to job interviews or other business endeavors if you’d like! Let the candles burn out if you use them, and feel free to do other workings as well. This spell would work best during the waxing and/or full moon.

Quartz Energy Bank

image

This is for the people like me who don’t count on deities, elements or spirits for most of their work, but rather on personal energy.
You will need:
A quartz crystal
A mason jar, or glass bottle
What you shall do:
Grab the quartz crystal and charge it with the most energy physically possible. You can do this by visualizing, or breathing into it, crystal grids, elemental charging, etc…
Then you want to place it in your glass jar, and close the jar very quickly.
The explanation:
How this came to  mind was that quartz crystals multiply energy, whilst glass contains it. By charging the quartz with that energy, it multiplies it and fills the glass jar, which doesn’t let it escape.
How to use it:
How you want to use thisitem, is by opening it during spellwork, and using that energy instead of the lements or a deity. This allows for more independent Magick.
You can also drop objects you want to enchant into the jar after putting your intent into the energy.

The Mirror Mirror Spread is a fabulous and thorough way to understand the dynamics of a relationship. Use this spread to see how you and another person reflect off of each other, and where the magic or messiness resides.  Pay special attention to the direction the images on the cards are facing. Do they face each other or turn away from each other? Do the images have a sense of harmony and cooperation? Or tension and disconnect?
  1. Your self image: The part of yourself you project to the world, usually shaped through a combination of appearance, behavior, social status, or social media. This reflection is never the complete story.
  2. Their self image: The part of them they project to the world, usually shaped through a combination of appearance, behavior, social status, or social media. This reflection is never the complete story.
  3. Your hidden self: A side of you that remains unseen, yet contributes to the relationship.
  4. Their hidden self: A side of them that remains unseen, yet contributes to the relationship.
  5. Your higher or true self: A deep and unfiltered view into your spirit.
  6. Their higher or true self: A deep and unfiltered view into their spirit.

Charm Bags & Vials

image
A charm bag is simply a magick spell inside a bag. They are one of the most popular ways of carrying power items with you.

To make a charm bag, simply fill with one or more magickally charged items. Magickally charged items may include herbs, stones, charms, drops of essential or magick oils, amulets, and crystals.
Charm bags may be as simple as a square of fabric tied together or they may be beautifully embroidered hand made works of art. They may be made of silk, leather, metal,or any fabric.  The choice is yours, but keep in mind that the container is part of the spell.
Bags with drawstring closures are useful because you can open and close them, adding materials as they are found or needed. A closed bag is called a “hand”.
A bag that has been sewn together is called a “sachet”.  A sachet is usually made of muslin and may be cut into any shape (to suit the magick), such as a heart or a star before it’s sewn together. Sachets usually contain only botanical materials such as herbs and flowers.
Instead of using bags or sachets to hold charms and power objects you may use tiny glass bottles.  The items inside are visible and may be layered or suspended in oil or seeds.  A cord or string may be attached so that the bottle can be worn or hung up.

One Method to Empower your Charm Bag, Sachet or Charm Vial
Choose a candle of the appropriate colour to compliment the magick intent of your bag. Carve the same symbol on the candle as is on your bag, or carve a symbol that is sympathetic to your purpose if there is no symbol in your bag. You may also dress the candle with an oil that is sympathetic to your purpose. Light the candle. Light some incense that also compliments the purpose of the bag. Pass the charm bag over the candle flame and incense smoke to clear it of any lingering unwanted energies before you enchant it with power.
Hold the charm bag in your hands and imagine power flowing into you from above. Envision the energy coursing into your arms and will it into your charm bag.  As you do this, visualize the desired outcome of the magick bag.  See it as complete. This is very important.  When you empower any object or spell, always envision the desired outcome, not the steps required or the magick working to make it so.  With your will, see the power flowing into your charm bag.
Place the charm bag beside the lit candle, so that the candle’s magickal sphere of energy is absorbed into the charm bag.  Once the candle burns out, your charm bag will be fully charged with your magickal intention~!

Nightmare Jar Recipe

Here is a fantastic nightmare jar that has been of tremendous use for me and my friends and family.  I will say this - it only lasts about a year before you will need to make a new one.
Ingredients
1 small jar you can seal
~8 in. Black Yarn
3-10 strands of hair from the person you are trying to protect
8-20 sharp objects like rusty nails, broken glass, etc.
Salt
Lavender
Mint
Rose Petals (optional)
Bay Leaves
Candle
Sharpie

Directions
Start by placing the hair into the vessel. This tricks whatever is causing the nightmares into the jar. Then put in the sharp objects to poke and prod the negativity and trap it in the jar once and for all.
Next, put in your herbs. Mint and lavender are meant to bring restful and calm sleep, and the bay leaves are meant for cleansing and keeping evil at bay. The rose petals will bring dreams of love.
SIDE NOTE: In my experience, the rose petals brought a lot of insanely sexual dreams.  So take that and do what you want with it.
Now add about half of your salt. The black yarn absorbs the negative energies. Wrap it up in a little ball and drop it into the jar, visualizing the negativity being sucked into a black hole. Pour the remaining salt into the jar and seal it with wax from your candle.
Feel free to write inscribe protective runes or sigils into the jar with the sharpie if you so choose.
Charge the nightmare jar in the light of the moon, and keep near the bed. A window sill is best as it will need to be recharged from time to time.

Hope this helps everyone - if you have any questions or comments, let me know!

Lunar Phases - Explained πŸŒ™

Because I kind of have my own correspondences for the phases of the moon, I thought I’d explain them here!
  • New Moon - the moon is just beginning to become illuminated, so it can correspond with new beginnings, a fresh start, cleansing, exploring new opportunities, newfound health or relationships, finding peace with yourself and moving on - “out with the old and in with the new.”
  • Waxing Moon - the moon is continuing to grow, becoming more and more visible, so it can correspond with attraction magick, reaching goals, manifestation magick, positive energy, success, wishes, good luck, gaining wealth, and dreams come true.
  • First Quarter - this moon is halfway illuminated, on its way to becoming fully illuminated, so it can correspond to balance, and the need to make decisions.
  • Full Moon - the moon is fully illuminated, so it can correspond with extra energy, a magickal boost, cleansing, charging, enchanting, performing divination, and honoring lunar deities.
  • Third Quarter - this moon is also halfway illuminated, but on its way to becoming invisible in the sky, therefore while it can still correspond with balance, it can also correspond to focusing on the task at hand, banishing, and breaking old habits.
  • Waning Moon - the moon is becoming less illuminated, and seems as though it’s disappearing, so it can correspond to generalized negative energy, reflection, introspection, transformation of the self, banishing things, binding others actions or undoing bindings, letting go, moving on, cleansing, breaking bad habits, and finding peace.
  • Dark Moon - the moon is completely hidden in the sky, with no illumination at all, so it can correspond to cursing, banishing, binding, seeking justice, reflection of the self, and generalized destruction.
  • Blue Moon - this moon is either the third of four full moons in a season, or a second full moon in a month, so it’s appearance can correspond to wishes, dreams, divination, achievement, and focus.
  • Black Moon - this moon is an additional new moon that appears in a month or in a season, or the absence of a full moon or of a new moon in a month, therefore it can correspond to extra power and manifestation.

πŸŒ™ Uses for Moon Water πŸŒ™

Due to popular demand, I’ve decided to make a post on the uses of moon water!
  1. Add a drop to lunar spell jars based on intent
  2. Add to a bath for cleansing and relaxation
  3. Rinse and cleanse your hair with it in the shower
  4. Purify and use in consumable potions for enhanced psychic abilities, relaxation, protection, or dreamwork
  5. Make a cleansing spray and use in your home
  6. Sprinkle a few drops around the perimeter of your home or bedroom
  7. Use to anoint and cleanse objects such as magickal tools or crystals
  8. Use to anoint yourself before spellwork or divination, or simply to promote peace and relaxation
  9. Use to charge objects with lunar energy
  10. Water your plants with it
  11. Add it to your water cup when painting to promote imaginative thinking
  12. Add a few drops to the washer before washing bedsheets to promote dreaming
  13. Use as a representation of either water, the moon, or both on your altar
  14. Combine with corresponding crystals or herbs for an added boost of energy
  15. Fill a hollow pendant with it and wear it to represent the moon, a particular lunar phase, or one of its associated correspondences (protection, relaxation, enhanced psychic abilities, etc.)
  16. Anoint a charm with moon water and carry it with you for protection, safe travels, or improved memory
Tips & a few words of caution:
  • Always purify and filter your moon water before consuming
  • If you plan to add crystals to your moon water, use tumbled stones so they won’t break down in the water (especially if you plan to drink it)
  • If you do plan to consume your moon water, store it in the fridge to extend it’s shelf life
  • Don’t water your plants with cold moon water; make sure it’s lukewarm or at room temperature first
  • If you’re unsure on what kind of intentions correspond to lunar energy, check out the links below
These are just some ideas on how to use moon water, but feel free to get creative!
