Opening Your Third Eye Spell
Purpose: To open your Third Eye. This may help with divination.
Materials: A tumbled/smooth piece of either amethyst or sodalite; a chair.
This spell should be done…: On a full moon, or on Samhain. Or both, if you’re lucky! Alternatively, you can do this spell on Bealtaine. It’s best to do it either on Samhain or Bealtaine, or on an equinox.
Instructions:
Cast a circle and call the quarters if desired. Ground and center if needed.
Sit in a chair and lean your head back. Place the crystal you chose between your eyebrows. Shut your eyes. Relax, and go into a meditation. Visualize a beam of pure light pouring down through the stone and into your Third Eye, filling it with power. When you feel full of power, say the following incantation to seal the spell:
“Power of light, power of second sight,
Pour into me on this holy night.
Mighty Goddess, winter’s Crone
Open my eye to that unknown.”
Remove the crystal. Release the quarters and close the circle if needed.
